Our story
I am the kind of person who knows what a real tomato tastes like. Not because I read about it. Because I grew up eating them before anyone put a label on them and called them organic. They just were what they were. Real. Grown properly. Tasting of something.
I know what raw milk is before pasteurisation changed it into something safer and blander and further from what nature made. I know what real food feels like in your body compared to the processed version dressed up to look the same.
And I know what real skincare looks like compared to what most of the industry has been selling for decades.
This matters because my standards are the standards ME WELL™ was built on. Not sympathy. Not personal suffering. Knowledge, observation and an absolute refusal to accept the processed version when the real thing exists.
What ten years taught me
For over a decade I ran Dorota's Lifestyle Studio in London, offering specialist clinical treatments including Hypoxi, NanoCellCare, Formostar and Emsella Chair therapy. Real treatments. Evidence-based. Not candles and good intentions.
In that time I worked closely with hundreds of women navigating the physical reality of midlife. Skin changes, energy changes, weight changes, mood changes. I watched what helped and what did not. I celebrated real results and understood real frustrations.
And I noticed something the beauty industry was getting fundamentally wrong.
The products these women trusted were mostly water. Beautifully packaged, expensively marketed, celebrity-endorsed water, with a handful of ingredients to stop it going off and a mission statement to make them feel good about buying it.
They were paying for someone else's advertising budget. Not for what was inside the bottle.
This is not cynicism. It is chemistry.
Most body lotions and creams are 60 to 80 percent water. Water evaporates. It feels good for twenty minutes and then it is gone, sometimes taking a little of your skin's own moisture with it as it goes. For mature skin whose oestrogen-driven ability to produce its own lipids and retain moisture has already declined, this is not moisturising. It is performance.
What mature skin actually needs
After 40 your skin barrier changes. Oestrogen decline reduces the skin's ability to produce its own lipids. The only way to genuinely address this is with oils whose fatty acid profiles mirror the skin's own natural structure. Botanical oils the skin recognises at a cellular level. Oils that absorb rather than sit on the surface and evaporate.
This is not a trend. It is biology.
ME WELL™ was built on this understanding. Every oil in the range is 100% anhydrous. Not a drop of water. No preservatives required by the formula. No synthetic stabilisers. No fillers. Every percentage point is active.
The ingredient most brands will not invest in
Every ME WELL™ oil contains Myramaze at 5%. This is the resurrection plant extract from South Africa, a plant that survives complete dehydration and revives fully with the first rain.
Clinical evidence shows Myramaze increases skin hydration by 25% from a single application lasting longer than two days. Continuous use over 10 days restores the skin barrier and actively regenerates stressed skin. The mechanism is specific. Trehalose, the compound that keeps the plant alive during drought, protects your skin barrier from moisture loss. Amentoflavone, the plant's natural defence against UV radiation, suppresses collagen breakdown and neutralises free radicals.
When I first formulated with Myramaze it was a new and largely unknown ingredient. My safety assessor had not encountered it. Most brands had not heard of it. I went directly to the manufacturer, requested the full toxicology documentation and built the scientific case for using it at 5%, more than double the typical industry usage rate.
It was signed off. I did not compromise.
Most brands use Myramaze at 1 to 2 percent, enough to put it on the label. We use it at 5 percent because that is the concentration where the clinical evidence sits. We do not put less of something in because it costs more.
The other dimension nobody talks about
ME WELL™ oils are not just skincare. As you massage each one in, the essential oil blends reach your limbic system through your olfactory nerve in 0.2 seconds, before the oil has even absorbed. The limbic system controls stress response, emotion, energy and memory. The right blend at the right moment measurably shifts your state of mind.
This is documented science, not wellness marketing. It is why each oil is formulated for a specific state of mind as well as a specific skin outcome. De-Stress, Energise, Ground and Balance are not just names. They are mechanisms.
ME WELL stands for Menopause Wellness
Though it sits on any bathroom shelf without announcing it. Discreet by design. A woman at this stage of life does not need a label. She needs something that works.
And while menopause is the territory ME WELL™ understands best, the products speak to any woman who has noticed her skin changing and refused to accept that the answer is more of what has not been working.
I am 49. My skin is in the category ME WELL™ serves. I use these products because they are the best thing I have ever put on my skin. And I made them.
Who this is for
The woman who reads ingredients and knows what she is looking at. The woman who has quietly suspected that everything she has been sold about skincare is wrong. The woman who would rather have one product that genuinely works than ten that perform beautifully and do very little.
The woman who knows the difference between a real tomato and a supermarket one. Between raw milk and the processed version. Between skincare built on science and skincare built on marketing.
If that is you, ME WELL™ was made for you.
If it is not, there are thousands of alternatives that will tell you what you want to hear.
